Scope

The CSA FC 4 will cover the evaluation of the physical construction, performance, markings and ratings of fuel cell stacks for use in supplying DC electrical power.

 

The main objectives of FC 4 are to provide:

a.

a convenient mechanism for fuel cell module manufacturers to pre-evaluate and promote their components for use in end products, and

b.

comprehensive specifications and conditions of acceptability of a fuel cell module, so as to provide the maximum information value to component specifiers, and manufacturers who integrate these devices into an end product. 

 
Status

Considering adopting IEC 62282-2 (2004-07) (TC105 WG#2).  In the meantime, North American markets can use CSA America Desk Standard 33.
