Published April 1, 2006. Available through ISO, ANSI and CGA.

 

Committee was reactivated in July 2008 for revisions related to SAE J2600.

 

The next edition will address a working pressure of 70 MPa. 


The Final Draft International Standard (FDIS) for the second edition was disapproved in June 2010.The Draft

International Standard for the second edition, DIS 17268.2, was approved in the fall of 2011.
 
Abstract

Applies to design, safety and operation verification of refueling connection devices including nozzle,                                 receptacle and protective cap.

                  

The devices, with working pressures of 25 and 35 MPa

     ·  Prevent H2 fuelled vehicles from being refueled by dispenser stations with higher working pressures

     · Allow H2 vehicles to be refueled by dispenser stations with lower or equal working pressure

     ·  Prevent H2 fuelled vehicles from being refueled by other compressed gases dispenser stations

     ·  Prevent other gaseous fuelled vehicles from being refueled by H2 dispensers
