Technical Specification TS 62282-7-1
Single Cell Test Method for Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells (PEFC)

Scope This Technical Specification (TS) identifies cell assemblies, test apparatus, measuring instrumentation and methods, test methods and test reports for PEFC single cells. It is intended to be used for evaluating:
  • performance of membrane electrode assemblies (MEA) for PEFC’s
  • material or structures of other components of PEFC’s

  • the influence of impurities in fuel and air on the fuel cell performance.

Status
Published April 2010. Available at www.iec.ch or www.ansi.org

The next meeting is scheduled for February 2011 in Tokyo.

A new activity has been approved: incorporate FCTESQA project to develop a test procedure for I-V (polarization) curves, which can be used for the characterization of PEM fuel cell stacks.
